The French part is located in the very west of Switzerland and there are five different Cantons: Geneva, Vaud, Neuchatel, Jura and Fribourg. It’s also called the region of the three lakes.
You can visit beautiful and historic towns like Geneva, Lausanne and Fribourg. If you prefer to discover the landscape, you are also right in this region. You can hike through amazing valleys and mountains but the French part is also very famous for horsebackriding.
